Young Adult Portal offers training programs especially designed for individuals who require skill training in order to obtain employment.
Youth Program
The Youth Program is designed to assist youth between the ages of 14 and 24 to meet their educational and career goals. Goals that are set for students include, obtaining a High School Equivalency or Adult High School Diploma, building leadership skills, obtaining occupational or experiences in desired careers, internships, externships, job shadowing and even increasing educational level to transition to a post– secondary program. Funding may assist with tuition, books, work uniforms and supportive services (transportation, day care, etc.). Educational counseling, mentoring, and tutorial are some of the core services available to help students to meet their goals. For more information about our Program Manager. Educational Experiences
Young Adult Portal offers virtual and in-person noncredit personal enrichment and professional development classes. Our goal is to provide a wide range of programs to meet community needs and interests. We aim to promote lifelong learning through courses aimed at personal enrichment, professional development, skill development and recreational enjoyment. Come explore, create and learn through our courses that can include art, cooking, computers, fitness, welding and much more.
